The CanNRT-IMPaCT Fellowship program, now entering its second year, continues to fuel innovation and capacity in clinical trials focused on neurodevelopmental health across Canada.
This training opportunity, co-led by the Canadian Neurodevelopmental Research Training Platform (CanNRT) and IMPaCT (Increasing Capacity for Maternal and Paediatric Clinical Trials), is designed to support early career researchers dedicated to improving the lives of children, youth, and families through evidence-based interventions.
This year, we are pleased to announce the 2025–2026 CanNRT-IMPaCT Fellows: Dr. Danielle Baribeau (Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital) and Ishnoor Nahal (University of Calgary).
These two fellows will receive tailored mentorship, financial support, and immersive learning and professional development experiences, including participation in the CanNRT Annual Summer School and IMPaCT Conference. Through the program, they will enhance their methodological expertise, develop leadership skills, and gain critical experience in designing and conducting clinical trials in real-world settings.
“This fellowship is all about building capacity to do clinical research that directly improves care for neurodiverse children and their families,” says Ellie-Anna Minogianis, CanNRT Manager. “We are proud to support these inspiring fellows who are each advancing research in areas that matter deeply to communities across Canada.”
