Strengthening Connections in Autism and Neurodevelopmental Research
The Canadian Neurodevelopmental Research Training Platform (CanNRT), in collaboration with other Canadian research networks, are pleased to host the Network of Networks Retreat as part of an emerging effort to strengthen connections across networks involved in autism and neurodevelopmental research, both in Canada and internationally.
As the field becomes increasingly collaborative and interdisciplinary, this gathering offers a timely opportunity to align strategies, share knowledge, and explore collective priorities to enhance our impact.
The retreat will bring together leaders from Canadian and international networks focused on autism and related conditions, offering a unique forum to exchange perspectives, build synergies, and foster deeper collaboration. Discussions will explore emerging priorities in research, knowledge mobilization, training, and capacity building for the next generation of leaders in the field.
___
The CanNRT Annual Thematic Retreat is a dedicated working retreat, co-led by trainees, where the platform takes stock of progress and sets priorities for the year(s) ahead. The retreat brings together trainees, committee members, and invited contributors from across research, clinical, and community contexts. These conversations help strengthen how CanNRT trains, connects, and supports the next generation of leaders in neurodevelopmental research.
